Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
This policy explains what Propadex collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the product.
1. What we collect
Account information you provide: name, email address, mobile phone number, and a password. We verify your phone with a one-time code at signup.
Billing information: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We store a customer/subscription reference and status — never your full card number.
Usage information: the searches, reports, scouts, and messages you make, plus basic logs, so we can run the product, enforce plan limits, and improve the service.
2. Public-record data
The property information in Propadex comes from public records published by New York City and State (ACRIS, PLUTO, HPD, DOB, ECB/OATH, DOF, LPC, LL84, NYS DOS, and similar). That data is about properties and public filings, not about you as a Propadex user.
3. How we use your information
To provide and secure the service, answer your queries, deliver reports and scout results by email or text, process your subscription, enforce plan allowances, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about your account.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Service providers
We share the minimum necessary with vetted processors that help us run Propadex: Stripe (payments), Twilio (phone verification and text delivery), Postmark (email), Supabase (database and authentication hosting), Anthropic (the AI model that powers the analyst), and our cloud hosts. Each processes data on our behalf under their terms.
When you ask the analyst a question, the text of your message and relevant property data are sent to the AI model to generate a response.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport, row-level access controls scoping your data to your account, and least-privilege roles for data access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
6. Retention
We keep account and usage data while your account is active and as needed for legal, billing, and security purposes. You can request deletion of your account data, subject to records we must retain by law.
7. Your choices
You can update your account details, manage or cancel your subscription from the billing portal, and opt out of non-essential messages. To request access to or deletion of your personal data, contact us.
8. Changes & contact
We may update this policy; material changes will be communicated. For privacy questions or requests, reach us through the contact options on our site.
