Terms of Service

Last updated June 2026

These terms govern your use of Propadex. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

Propadex provides software that assembles and answers questions about New York City real-estate information drawn from public records (such as ACRIS, PLUTO, HPD, DOB, ECB/OATH, and DOF). You can access it through our web platform and by text and email.

Propadex is an information tool. It is not legal, lending, tax, appraisal, or inspection advice, and it is not a substitute for professional due diligence.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate signup information (including a valid email and mobile number for verification). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

3. Plans, free trial & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor, Stripe. Starting a plan requires a payment method; your 7-day free trial is not charged until it ends, and you can cancel before then to avoid any charge.

Plan allowances (for example, the Essential monthly query limit) are described on our pricing page and may change with notice. You can change or cancel your plan anytime from your account, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no automated scraping or bulk extraction beyond your plan, no reselling or redistributing the data or outputs as a competing dataset, no attempts to breach security or access other users' data, and no unlawful use.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that abuse the service or threaten its reliability or cost.

5. Data accuracy & no advice

The underlying data is sourced from third-party public records and is provided “as is.” Public records can be incomplete, delayed, or contain errors, and our coverage and refresh timing depend on the source. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information, and you should independently verify anything you rely on for a transaction.

6. Intellectual property

The Propadex software, interfaces, and original content are owned by Propadex. Public-record facts are not owned by us. You retain ownership of content you submit; you grant us a limited license to process it to provide the service.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Propadex is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes & termination

We may update these terms or the service; material changes will be communicated. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.

9. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Questions: reach us through the contact options on our site.
